Connecting with your roots.... to grow...

Connecting with your roots…. to grow…

Glimpses of a lively get together on 4th January at Menorah through the kind courtesy of MTV.  Our Diocese  is just in its infant stage.  We are part of a large Diocese finding new ways to express ourselves as we grow.  Together we can share, care and grow together even if we are miles apart.

There are two video clips including the address by Fr Dr Jacob Kurien (the chief guest for the family get together 2013) on MTV under 11th January 2013.  Please follow this link to know more about what happened at the Family Get together. My sincere thanks to MTV for the Photographs and the Videos!

I am also very glad to inform that a book titled, ‘Linguistic Inputs for Thesis writing in Theology’ authored by Dr Iris Devadason and edited by me was released during this get together.  I express my sincere thanks and deep gratitude to both HG Dr Mathews Mar Thimothios the Diocesan Bishop and Fr Dr Jacob Kurien for releasing it.

I am happy that I could edit it and publish it in 2012, an impotant year for many reasons including the celebrations of our Catholicate Centenary and the 1960 years of our Church’s life.  I feel happy and proud that apart from my other responsibilities, as the Deputy Secretary of Ecumenical Relations & Spiritual Organisations of the UK region of our Diocese, I could make this contribution and thank God for it.  I hope and pray that this book will be of interest to many Theological students and teachers in their venture to write a thesis or preparing students to do it respectively. – EJ

Congratulations to Dr Iris Devadason!
